District Report Cards

We are pleased to share our annual district and school-based report cards published by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The report cards contain information about school and district accountability, student achievement on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS), and other important measures of school performance.

February 2025 Message to Families About the 2024 Report Cards

Dear Families:

Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your child’s report card shows how they are doing in different subjects, the school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas.

You can use the links above to access our report cards. Additionally, a link to our district’s report card is available at this Department of Elementary and Secondary Education link. You can search for your specific school’s report card at https://reportcards.doe.mass.edu.

For each school, the report card includes multiple measures of a school’s performance – more than just MCAS scores. It represents a new way of looking at school performance, by providing information on student achievement, teacher qualifications, student learning opportunities, and more.

Report cards are designed to be useful tools for everyone connected to our school. Families can use the information to have meaningful conversations with school leaders about what the school is doing well and where there is room for improvement. Community and education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our school.

You will notice on our report card that we are making significant progress towards our targets. To improve student performance in our school,  we are proud to share that our students have made significant progress in both ELA and Math, with our scores increasing from the 2023 to 2024 school year and surpassing the state average. This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our educators, the hard work of our students, and the support of our families.

While we celebrate these gains, we remain committed to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential. We will continue to provide targeted interventions and support for students who are partially meeting or not yet meeting grade-level expectations. Through high-quality instruction, data-driven decision-making, and a strong focus on differentiation, we will work to close learning gaps and support the success of all learners.

As we move forward, our focus remains on fostering a culture of academic excellence, equity, and continuous growth, ensuring that every student at our schools receives the support they need to thrive.

We encourage you to become involved in helping us improve our schools. We see parents as critical partners in the success of our students and school, and we are grateful for your continued support.

Finally, if your child attends a school that receives federal Title I funds, you also have the right to request the following information about the qualifications of your child’s classroom teachers:

  • Whether your child’s teacher is licensed in the grade levels and subject areas they teach,

  • Whether your child’s teacher is teaching under an emergency license or waiver,

  • The college degree and major of your child’s teacher, and

  • Whether your child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.

If you have questions about our school’s report card, would like to become involved in school improvement activities, or would like to request information about the qualifications of your child’s classroom teacher, please contact your principal directly.
