Grades 5 to 8, Natick Public Schools, Instrumental Music Program Registration, 2024-2025
Grades 9 to 12, Natick Public Schools, Instrumental and Vocal Music Registration, 2024-2025
Tuition for 2024-2025:
Group (2 or more): $255 per semester
Private: $430 per semester
Payment is due before lessons can be scheduled. Please note that there is a $40 registration fee for the first semester to cover administrative costs.
Lessons are offered to all band students 4-12, and all string students 3-12. It is expected that all students take lessons to be successful in band and orchestra. Students can not be successful without lessons from an expert on their instrument.
Lesson pricing is per semester. (15 weeks of lessons per semester.) Lessons are 30 minutes per week, except by request for 45 or 60 (with a pro-rated cost).
Lessons for elementary students are during the school day, once a week. Lessons for middle and high school students are scheduled after the school day. We try to accommodate all requests for times and days, but this is not always possible.
Students in grade 9-12 register and pay through the same system as middle and elementary levels. A teacher will be in touch to schedule in September.
Payments for lessons can be made by check to:
Instrumental Music Payments
15 West Street
Natick, MA 01760
Attention: Craig Chisholm
Please note that over the summer, checks may take some time to clear.
Or use a credit card/debit card for payment through Unipay. This method is also noted on the sign up form.
It is always our recommendation that students in middle school take private lessons; this kind of personal attention is most effective for learning. We acknowledge that it is more expensive. Students at our elementary schools will be placed in class lessons.
Band & Orchestra
Elementary band and orchestra are before the school day, once a week. (This differs by school start time, and will not necessarily be the same day as the lesson).
Times for Band and Orchestra 2024-2025:
Orchestra:
Tuesday: Memorial 8:00
Wednesday: Ben Hem 7:30
Thursday: Lilja 7:45
Friday: Brown 7:45
Band:
Tuesday: Lilja 7:45
Wednesday: Memorial 8:00
Thursday: Brown 7:45
Friday: Ben-Hem 7:30
Middle School Band, High School Band, and High School Orchestra are all scheduled classes.
Middle School Orchestra Grades 7-8 this year will be offered during WIN block, but 5th and 6th grade orchestras are scheduled classes. Through attrition, 7-8 orchestra will become a class scheduled the same way as 5th and 6th grade orchestra as the number of students involved increases over the next few years.
